Medmovie designed this 3D animation to teach a complex catheter procedure to its sales force and physicians. Created from Cook Medical's device CAD data and accurate 3D models of human anatomy, this animation depicts the use of a multipart catheter system to deliver embolization particles to block the blood supply of a uterine fibroid tumor. Once the blood supply has been blocked, the fibroid tumor can no longer grow and it reduces in mass.
